Our Social and Community Involvement

At Dessaults, we believe a company that’s worthy of its name should give back to the community through promising projects that reflect the community’s values and passions.

That’s why we like to partner with causes, organizations and athletes from our region and occasionally from other areas. We are present in our community, and we are proud promoters of healthy lifestyles.

Some Examples of Our Involvement

Elliot Vaillancourt - member of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team

A native of Drummondville and a member of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team, Elliot won the World Junior Parallel Moguls title in 2019 and hopes to qualify for the 2022 Olympic Games.

We have been supporting Elliot for over three years because of his thoroughness, personality, resilience in the face of adversity, his ability to manage risk and his outstanding discipline, both in training and in his studies, which he strives to pursue despite the numerous hours of training and travel he puts in.

Elliot perfectly embodies Transport Dessaults’ mission and values and inspires our team to go above and beyond.

Club Cycliste Drummond (CCD)

CCD is the largest cycling club in Drummondville. The activities it offers allow cycling aficionados to enjoy safe and active group rides and to benefit from a coaching service to get the most out of their favorite sport.

Our partnership with Club Cycliste Drummond is based above all on our shared fundamental values: performance, surpassing oneself and road safety.

Maison René-Verrier

Located in Drummondville, on the shores of the Saint-François River, Maison René-Verrier is one of Québec’s 35 palliative care hospices. With 10 private rooms, the hospice sees to the needs of approximately 140 patients and their families each year.

Transport Dessaults is proud to contribute logistics services to the Maison René-Verrier so that it can offer free palliative and end-of-life care to those in need.

Club du Mont Ste-Anne

The Club du Mont Ste-Anne is under the umbrella of the Fédération Québécoise de ski Alpin (SQA), and is part of the Skibec Alpin, a regional association of mountains surrounding the Greater Québec City and Chaudière Appalaches region. The Club’s mission is to promote the learning of alpine skiing among young people by providing them with a positive and competitive ski environment and organizing competitions and events.

What brings us together most with this involvement are the Club’s values shared entirely by Groupe Dessaults, including work discipline, member safety, passion for what we do, desire to go beyond oneself, risk management and the fact that there are only 2 chances to reach the podium!!!! Better get your skis tuned!!!
